Prescott's mission is to share God's love by encouraging spiritual growth
through worship, prayer, study of Scripture, and fellowship; and by
serving God through ministries of healing, nurturing and outreach.
We strive to be a voice for reconciliation, peace, and justice in our
community and in our world. In all things, we remain open to the
guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Following the teachings of Christ, we invite you to join us as we
explore how we can lead meaningful lives through our words and
actions, helping to make a difference in our families, our community,
and the world.

The UCC is an organization of ten
churches in the Memphis area who
work together on various neighborhood
outreach programs. Prescott helped
form the UCC back in the 1970s, and
is an active partner in two important
ministries, the Food Pantry and the
Soup Kitchen, both of which are
hosted by another UCC member,
St. Luke's United Methodist Church.

The UCC Food Pantry is open on
Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Prescott members serve two months
out of each year, distributing groceries
to families in need.

The UCC Kitchen provides free meals
to the community every Saturday at
4:30 p.m. Prescott members prepare
and serve these meals every six weeks.
